Our Vision

SAFA`s Vision

SAFA aim to raise awareness and reduce the amount of people self-harming. This number is growing rapidly which indicates the public’s trust in our service for help. We hope that funders continue to support our work, enabling us to reach out and offer support to those individuals who have no immediate support.

14 years service

1,246 Counselling Sessions throughout Cumbria in 2019.

Statements from the SAFA team

Cindy Daltioni

Chief Executive Officer

I’m very lucky in what I do. I meet a lot of new people which can both be awkward and challenging but most of the time I meet truly inspiring people.

Ian Burns

I am honoured to Chair such a great organisation as SAFA who save lives and immeasurably improve the quality of many more.

Helen Beach

Counselling Co-ordinator

As a practicing counsellor, one of my goals has been to make sure the counsellors feel supported while they are working for SAFA.
